Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

As CMO, you will be responsible for leading the Marketing department, which currently consists of around 20 Tisees based in Norway, Denmark, and Finland. You will also lead and empower our Country Managers, who drive strategy and commercial performance locally. You will also directly lead the Brand and Performance Marketing teams, ensuring that positioning, storytelling, and growth efforts are aligned and pulling in the same direction.
This is a role for someone who can connect market reality with strategic clarity — and turn both brand equity and marketing craft into real business outcomes.
What you will accomplish:
- Lead and develop the Country Managers, setting ambition, clarity, and executional pace in each market, while helping them tailor strategy to the local needs.
- Oversee & lead Brand and Performance Marketing as two strategic teams, ensuring they work in sync with local needs and commercial goals.
- Build a cohesive cross-market marketing model that turns local insights into learning, direction, and repeatable playbooks.
- Strengthen how Tise shows up culturally — distinctive, relevant, and true to our values.
- Grow and coach senior marketing leaders, raising the level of ownership, creativity, and execution.
What you will bring:
• Proven success leading marketing in a consumer brand, platform, or marketplace across multiple markets.
- Ability to combine strong brand instinct with commercial sharpness — making decisions rooted in both data and intuition.
- Experience leading teams where creativity and performance go hand in hand, not in silos.
- A leadership style grounded in empowerment, empathy, trust, clarity, and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Strategic & Business Competencies
- Strong ability to develop and execute clear growth strategies across channels, markets, and business areas.
- Deep business understanding — including company model, competitive landscape, and customer segments.
- Sharp insight into market dynamics, trends, and positioning opportunities.
- Proven experience driving product–market fit and creating real value for target audiences.
Analytical & Data-Driven Competencies
- Solid grasp of key growth metrics such as CAC, LTV, churn, and funnel conversion rates.
- Skilled in experimentation and data analysis (A/B testing, hypotheses, and data-driven decision-making).
- Strong understanding of performance marketing — including SEO, paid social, CRM, automation, and attribution.
